Supplies

Fabrics are 140 cm (55 inches) wide:

-A 15 cm (6 inches) zipper.
-Fusible interfacing for the waistband lining, depending on the chosen fabric (a 20 x 60 cm rectangle).
 -1 button (1.5 to 2 cm).
-For pocket bags, you can use cotton scraps to avoid bulk, especially if your fabric is thick.

-Fabric yardage needed (140 cm / 55 inches wide), including waistband lining and pockets:

     

    What fabric to choose:

     

    A heavy fabric such as gabardine, denim, or even a fine wool, suedette, velvet, or jacquard.
     You can also choose a fabric with stretch to provide more comfort at the waistband (in this case, interface only at the button and buttonhole).
