CHARLIE, OPTIONS only :

Charlie is a blouse or dress created in a shirt spirit with a pretty neckline. The 3 buttons, the box pleat at the back and its rounded finish give it femininity and softness. Its clean look makes it a must-have piece in your wardrobe. Its different options allow you to sew a Charlie for every season!

This options pattern is only available in pdf format:

In this pattern you will only find options compatible with the basic Charlie pattern:

_The “short sleeve” option

_The “short puffed sleeves” option

_The “long roll-up sleeves” option

_The “ruffled collar” option

_The “frilly” option

If you want the basic pattern, it's HERE.

If you want the complete pattern (base + options), it's HERE.

Pattern from size 34 to 46.

To make sewing easier:

-All pdf patterns have layers by size and do not have a frame to cut out.

-Seam allowances are included.

-No overlapping of parts.

PDF

Immediately after placing your order you will receive a link to download your pattern (this link will also be present in the confirmation email you will receive after ordering).

Download your pattern, you will have a .zip file including:

  • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A4 format;
  • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A0 format;
  • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in US Letter format;
  • an illustrated assembly guide to assist you;

A4 and US Letter patterns have layers by size (you only print the useful sizes)

The sheets are frameless to cut: print and assemble your sheets edge to edge.

On A4 and US Letter patterns, the lines for the different sizes are marked with lines of different colors. I therefore advise you to print your pattern in color to help you find your way around better.
On the A0 pattern the lines of different sizes are marked by lines of different shapes, thus limiting printing costs.

Level

Intermediate, the technical points are the sewing of the darts, the “burrito” method, the installation of the button placket as well as the long sleeves.

Supplies

Choice of fabric: Choose a warp and weft fabric: viscose, poplin, cotton, tencel, twill, etc.

Supplies :

  • Fabric yardage required (width 140 cm), some examples (note, measurements may vary if you choose several options ):

-Sleeveless top (with or without collar) from 34 to 46: 1m

-Short-sleeved top from 34 to 46: 1m 30

-Long-sleeved top from 34 to 46: 1m 60

-Sleeveless dress (with or without collar) size 34 or 44: 1.30 m (without pockets), 1.50 m (with pockets)

-Sleeveless dress (with or without collar) in 46: 1m 90 (with or without pockets)

-Short or long sleeve dress from 34 to 44: 2 m

-Short-sleeved dress in 46: 2m 30

-Long-sleeved dress in 46: 2m 50

  • Bias bias (2 cm): top hem: 1m 40; dress hem: 1m 60; armholes: 1m 10 (55 cm per armhole).

That is approximately 2m 50 for the top and 2m 70 for the dress.

  • 3 buttons (approximately 12 mm), or 7 buttons if long sleeves with fastening tab.
  • Iron-on interfacing (if necessary for lightweight fabrics) for the button placket, shirt collar lining and long sleeve cuffs.
  • Elastic (for short sleeves): width 5 to 8 mm and length 65 cm ((arm circumference + 1 cm)x2).

Assembly booklets

I will guide you step by step in creating your garment. Explanations and illustrations in the assembly booklet
will guide you every step of the way. Let yourself be guided and have a great time sewing.

Easy-to-use patterns

Perfectly locate the pattern pieces , placed next to each other, they do not overlap.

Cut your fabric following the outlines of the pattern, you do not have to add seam allowances because they are included. For your information: the margins are 1 cm and the hems are 2 cm. For technical reasons, these measurements may vary, but in this case I warn you 😊

Simplicity of pdf

Place your order and immediately download your pdf pattern.

No frame to cut , save time by assembling the sheets directly, edge to edge.

Layer by size : Save ink by printing only your size and cut out your pattern pieces directly.
