Format
Chavafroncer is, as its name suggests, a light and feminine gathered dress/blouse. It has a V-neckline as well as a bare back, also V-shaped, held in place by ties. For those who are more cautious, the back can be closed. Chavafron can be a blouse, a short dress or a midi dress. Three types of sleeves are available: sleeveless, short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves.
With this model, I want to offer you a pattern with which you can use your scraps of different fabrics. I constructed the bust and ruffles to make it easier to combine your fabrics.

The pattern is designed with clear and detailed instructions to guide you throughout your project. Find the video tutorial in the “Video tutorial” section.


    PDF

    Immediately after placing your order you will receive a link to download your pattern (this link will also be present on the confirmation email that you will receive after ordering as well as in your customer account).

    Download your pattern, you will have a .zip file including:

    • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 52) to print and assemble in A4 format;
    • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 52) to print and assemble in A0 format;
    • a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 52) to print and assemble in US Letter format;
    • an illustrated assembly guide to assist you;

    The A4 and US Letter patterns have layers by size (you only print the sizes you need).

    The sheets are frameless to cut: print and assemble your sheets edge to edge.

    On the A4, A0 and US Letter patterns the lines of the different sizes are identified by lines of different shapes and colors. You can therefore choose to print your pattern in color or in black and white.


    Pouch

    A few days after placing your order, you will receive your pouch in your mailbox.

    The pouch contains:

    • 1 A0 board with the pattern from size 34 to size 52 (without overlapping pieces),
    • the assembly booklet containing explanations and illustrations to help you sew your garment,
    • an A5 size storage pouch.

    The pattern is printed in black and white with the lines of the different sizes represented by different lines (dotted lines, dashes, etc.).

    The assembly booklet is printed in color, it contains photos as well as diagrams illustrating the assembly of the garment.

    Delivery of the pouches:

    Shipping to a relay point: the choice of relay point is made after validation of the order.

    Our pattern is designed with clear and detailed instructions, suitable for beginner-intermediate seamstresses.

    This is a fairly easy dress/blouse to sew as it is not fitted to the body. The technical points are the gathers and the installation of the facing.

      Sleeveless version: bias (width 2 cm): 120 cm.
    Which fabric to choose:

    You can use viscose, poplin, cotton, tencel, twill, fine velvet, fine jacquard... I advise you to choose a fabric that is fluid enough to have pretty gathers!

    Easy-to-use patterns

    Perfectly locate the pattern pieces , placed next to each other, they do not overlap.

    Cut your fabric following the outlines of the pattern, you do not have to add seam allowances because they are included. For your information: the margins are 1 cm and the hems are 2 cm. For technical reasons, these measurements may vary, but in this case I warn you 😊
