Sewing level
In terms of sewing, Chavafroncer is a pattern suitable for beginner to intermediate sewers. This means you can start if you have already sewn several simple items (garments or accessories).
By sewing Chavafroncer, you will:
- Attach a facing to a V-neckline,
- Sew ties (open-back version),
- Attach an invisible bias binding (sleeveless version),
- Sew and assemble sleeves (versions with sleeves),
- And of course, you'll be making gathers! So if you don't like gathers, move on 😉

Sleeveless version: bias tape (2 cm width): 120 cm.
You can use viscose, poplin, cotton, tencel, twill, fine velvet, fine jacquard… A fluid fabric will create beautiful fluid gathers, while a thicker fabric will give more structure to your Chavafroncer!

Seam allowance included
Cut your fabric following the pattern outlines. You do not need to add any seam allowance as it is already included. For your information: seam allowances are 1 cm and hems are 2 cm. For technical reasons, these measurements may vary, but in that case, I will let you know 😊
No overlapping parts
Perfectly mark out the pattern pieces; placed next to each other, they do not overlap.
