The CHAPLIN pants and shorts pattern

ENGLISH BOOKLET AVAILABLE WITH YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERN.

The Chaplin pants, with their high waist and wide flared legs, are an essential in your wardrobe! It closes with an invisible zipper on the side.

You have the choice between a classic belt or with religious pleats.

You can add removable straps that you can put on or take off as you wish!

Chaplin is also shorts whose length is ideal for comfort. You can sew it with one or other of the belts and choose to add removable straps.

Pattern for size 34 to 46, available in pdf and or pocket.

To make sewing easier:

-All pdf patterns now have layers by size and do not have a frame to cut out.

-Seam allowances are included.

-No overlapping of parts.

Immediately after placing your order you will receive a link to download your pattern (this link will also be present on the confirmation email you will receive after ordering).

Download your pattern, you will have a .zip file including:

• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A4 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A0 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in US Letter format;
• an illustrated assembly guide to assist you;

A4 and US Letter patterns have layers by size (you only print the useful sizes)

The sheets are frameless to cut: print and assemble your sheets edge to edge.

On the A4, A0 and US Letter patterns the lines of the different sizes are identified by lines of different shapes and colors. You can therefore choose to print your pattern in color or in black and white.

Pouch

A few days after placing your order, you will receive your pouch in your mailbox.

The pouch contains:

• 1 A0 board with the pattern from size 34 to size 46 (without overlapping pieces),
• the assembly booklet containing explanations and illustrations to help you sew your garment,
• an A5 size storage pouch.

The pattern is printed in black and white with the lines of the different sizes represented by different lines (dotted lines, dashes, etc.).

The assembly booklet is printed in color, it contains photos as well as diagrams illustrating the assembly of the garment.

Delivery of the pouches:

Shipping to a relay point: the choice of relay point is made after validation of the order.

At home: Colissimo

Level

Intermediate level for the classic belt version. The technical point is the installation of the invisible closure. Making the belt with religious pleats is at an advanced level, however with a little practice and on a fabric that does not “move” you will be able to get started!

Supplies

Choice of fabric: A heavy fabric such as gabardine, denim or even a fine wool, suede, velvet or jacquard for winter pants/shorts. Or a lighter fabric such as chambray, viscose, twill or crepe, for mid-season or summer.

You can also choose a fabric with elasticity which will give you more comfort around the waist.

Supplies (fabric width 140 cm):

-Shorts: up to 115 cm depending on models and sizes (more details in the booklet).

-Trousers: 215 cm.

-Invisible closure 22 cm.

-Iron-on interlining.
