The CHABADA dress and blouse pattern

The Chabada dress is a dress marked at the waist with an elastic and buttoned on the front. It has all the charm of shirt dresses with a nice length of buttons on the front but without the obligation to make buttonholes (you can sew the buttons directly by taking the fronts together) while enjoying the comfort of an elasticated waist! Which makes it an easy-to-wear dress, which you can put on without undoing or redoing the buttons! Of course, for those who wish, you can absolutely put on buttonholes. The play of pleats on the front and back gives this women's pattern a pretty finish.

_It is available in 3 lengths: short dress, midi dress and long dress
_It offers 3 types of sleeves: short sleeves, long flared sleeves and long puff sleeves (elastic wrist)
_Pockets and belt optional
_A blouse version, ideal for small coupons (the blouse/short sleeve version fits in less than a meter of fabric in a width of 140cm).

Pattern for size 34 to 46, available in pdf and/or pocket.

To make sewing easier:

-All pdf patterns have layers by size and do not have a frame to cut out.

-Seam allowances are included.

-No overlapping of parts.

Download your pattern, you will have a .zip file including:

• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A4 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A0 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in US Letter format;
• an illustrated assembly guide to assist you;

A4 and US Letter patterns have layers by size (you only print the useful sizes)

The sheets are frameless to cut: print and assemble your sheets edge to edge.

On the A4, A0 and US Letter patterns the lines of the different sizes are identified by lines of different shapes and colors. You can therefore choose to print your pattern in color or in black and white.

Pouch

A few days after placing your order, you will receive your pouch in your mailbox.

The pouch contains:

• 2 A0 boards with the pattern from size 34 to size 46 (without overlapping pieces),
• the assembly booklet containing explanations and illustrations to help you sew your garment,
• an A5 size storage pouch.

The pattern is printed in black and white with the lines of the different sizes represented by different lines (dotted lines, dashes, etc.).

The assembly booklet is printed in color, it contains photos as well as diagrams illustrating the assembly of the garment.

Shipping to a relay point: the choice of relay point is made after validation of the order.

Level

Intermediate (beginner-intermediate), the technical points are the sewing of the neckline which requires a little precision and the installation of the elastic in the seam allowance (not for the blouse version). However, it can also be aimed at beginner seamstresses who have already sewn a garment because it does not contain any major difficulties.

Choice of fabric: Depending on the season and the model chosen, you can use viscose, poplin, cotton, crepe, tencel, linen, twill, fine velvet, etc.

A light and colorful print will be perfect for a little summer dress or a long, flowing and casual dress. Fall colors or a plain fabric will make it a key piece of your fall winter wardrobe.
