Châtaigne is a pattern accessible to beginner-intermediate sewers who have already sewn a garment.
By sewing Châtaigne you will:
- Sew gathers,
- Sew and attach a button placket,
- Sew and assemble sleeves with gathers,
- Sew a cuff with hand finish,
- Sew pockets (dress version option).
Supplies
Fabric choice: To sew the Châtaigne blouse, choose a woven fabric: viscose, cotton batiste, poplin, tencel, chambray, plumetis, crepe... A fluid fabric will highlight the gathers well.
