The HIBISCUS women’s jacket pattern

The Hibiscus women's jacket is available in 3 versions (A, B and C) which are distinguished by their neckline.

Version A: jacket with a rounded neckline, perfect for everyday wear.

Version B: jacket with a suit-style collar, for a more chic style.

Version C: jacket with a shawl collar to make it a warm version and even a coat depending on the fabric chosen.

The 3 versions can be sewn in a short or long version, with or without a belt (and loops). The short version offers patch pockets while the long version has larger pockets taken in the side seam and the neckline seam.

The Hibiscus jacket does not have a lining, which makes it an easy and quick piece to sew. Particularly for version A whose neckline does not present any assembly difficulties.

Pattern for size 34 to 46, available in pdf and/or pocket.

To make sewing easier:

-All pdf patterns have layers by size and do not have a frame to cut out.

-Seam allowances are included.

-No overlapping of parts.

Immediately after placing your order you will receive a link to download your pattern (this link will also be present in the confirmation email you will receive after ordering).

Download your pattern, you will have a .zip file including:

• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A4 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in A0 format;
• a pdf file of the multi-size pattern (from 34 to 46) to print and assemble in US Letter format;
• an illustrated assembly guide to assist you;

A4 and US Letter patterns have layers by size (you only print the useful sizes)

The sheets are frameless to cut: print and assemble your sheets edge to edge.

On the A4, A0 and US Letter patterns the lines of the different sizes are identified by lines of different shapes and colors. You can therefore choose to print your pattern in color or in black and white.

Pouch

A few days after placing your order, you will receive your pouch in your mailbox.

The pouch contains:

• 2 A0 boards with the pattern from size 34 to size 46 (without overlapping pieces),
• the assembly booklet containing explanations and illustrations to help you sew your garment,
• an A5 size storage pouch.

The pattern is printed in black and white with the lines of the different sizes represented by different lines (dotted lines, dashes, etc.).

The assembly booklet is printed in color, it contains photos as well as diagrams illustrating the assembly of the garment.

Delivery of the pouches:

Shipping to a relay point: the choice of relay point is made after validation of the order.

At home: Colissimo

Level

Beginner-intermediate. The level varies depending on the model: version A is the most accessible, version B is the one that requires the most precision.

Supplies

Choice of fabric: Depending on the versions, you can choose different fabrics! A more or less thick quilted jersey or a quilted double gauze for versions A and C. A jacquard will work very well with all 3 versions! For the extended C version, don't hesitate to choose a heavier fabric, like wool for example, to make a warm jacket.

Note 1: For version B, you can play with the color of the facing which is visible at the turned-out collar. In this case, provide the necessary quantity of fabric.

Note 2: For version B it is important to have a fabric that marks the folds (for the collar fold).

Supplies (fabric width 140 cm):

-Short version: 160 cm of facing fabric included.

-Long version: 180 cm of facing fabric included.

-Add 40 cm for the belt.
